Why did the chicken soup apply for a job?
Because it wanted to stir up some excitement and bring people together! šŸ²šŸ˜„

šŸ“ Trivia šŸ“

The brand started in 1993.
Chicken Soup for the Soul was created by Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen with the goal of publishing inspirational stories that ā€œnourish the soul.ā€

The first book was a huge hit.
The original book sold over 8 million copies in the U.S. alone and sparked a whole series of books covering everything from love and parenting to pet stories.

It’s more than just books now.
The brand has expanded into TV shows, podcasts, food products, and even dog food, all under the same uplifting philosophy.

The name comes from a real idea.
Jack Canfield said, ā€œJust like chicken soup nourishes the body, these stories nourish the soul.ā€

Building Community Through Love and Landscaping

In March 2025, Tom Clime, a 59‑year‑old landscaper from Brookville, Maryland, found a unique way to spread a message of hope in his community. Rather than letting discarded sheet‑metal along the roadway go to waste, Tom transformed it into glowing, pink‑lit heart sculptures. His goal was simple yet profound: to remind his neighbors of love, unity, and kindness during a time when division often dominates the headlines.

But Tom didn’t stop with art. He generously offered free landscaping services and parking support to a nearby church, helping create spaces where the community could gather safely and joyfully. For Tom, the greatest reward came from unexpected moments—like when someone driving by at night spots a glowing heart and calls their parent to share the simple wonder of it. In his eyes, these small gestures were ā€œworth it,ā€ lighting the way for connection in subtle but meaningful ways.

Message: Tom’s story shows that creativity combined with compassion can build connection. In our fast-paced world, even a small, visible symbol of caring—a glowing heart on the roadside—can spark hope, brighten someone’s day, and bring a community closer together.

"And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up."
— Galatians 6:9 (ESV)
