Zebulon’s Town Manager, Gilbert Todd Jr., resigned after serving only four months in the position, citing a "serious personnel matter." Todd, who was appointed in December 2024, officially submitted his resignation, which was accepted by the Town Board of Commissioners during their meeting on April 17. The town has not disclosed additional information about the reasons for his departure.

The Wake Forest Police Department has made 79 arrests for Driving While Impaired (DWI) since the start of the year, including 30 arrests in March. This increase has prompted the department to issue fresh warnings about the dangers of impaired driving.
