🐾 Heroic Rescue: Jaguar Saved from Brazil’s Rio Negro

On October 1, 2025, a dramatic rescue unfolded in Brazil’s Rio Negro, one of the Amazon’s largest rivers. A jaguar—an iconic and powerful predator—was spotted struggling in the water, exhausted and in pain. Despite its severe injuries, the jaguar responded well to treatment. Authorities are investigating the shooting, emphasizing the importance of protecting wildlife in the Amazon.
