Walking through Weymouth Woods doesn’t feel like visiting a park; it feels like stepping back into pre-colonial North Carolina, into a landscape that has remained remarkably unchanged. In Long Island, New York, high school senior Alexandra DeDonato is proving that one person can make a big difference.
